About Our Club

A little about us

Warren Sixpack provides top level training and competition at all levels in youth indoor volleyball. Our roster of elite coaches and athletes is what makes Warren Sixpack New Jersey’s premier volleyball club for boys and girls.


Warren Sixpack Volleyball Club was founded in 1978 and quickly grew into the premier volleyball club it is today. Today, the club consists of over 400 athletes from around the state, including National Teams that compete at the highest level. 


Our practices focus on training to develop athletes’ both individual skills as well as teamwork in a competitive environment. Our coaches are all Impact Certified with several furthering their qualifications with USA volleyball at the CAP 1 level. Many coaches are current Division I, II, and III college coaches and top collegiate athletes.

 

Our mission has remained the same as when it was founded: To provide a place to play and learn to fall in love with the sport of volleyball. We strive to create a positive atmosphere, stressing good sportsmanship and moral character.

Our club provides a fun and safe environment for children to learn and play the beautiful game.

We cater to boys and girls of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players, and offer a range of programs to suit each child's individual needs.

On Monday, November 11, 2024, the Warren Sixpack family tragically lost one of our players, Brandon Genlot. Brandon was a member of the 18-2 boys team and has been part of our club since 2023. For him, volleyball was a passion and he dedicated his life to becoming the best player that he could be. To honor Brandon and his love of volleyball, we have created a scholarship fund in his name. The funds collected will be given to a Sixpack player to help with their college career and to help keep Brandon’s legacy alive in the future. For our “Coach of the Week” this week, we want to highlight Coach Kyle Loesner! He is the coach of the 15-Red Girls and the 17-White Boys teams. Kyle has coached four different Sixpack teams in AAU tournaments this seasons, with his most notable finishes being with the 15-Red Girls at the AAU Super Regional Tournament (Atlantic City, NJ) where they won the silver bracket and the 18-Black Boys at the Virginia Beach Blizzard Blast Tournament (Virginia Beach, VA) where they came in 7th overall! ?? Kyle has been part of the #sixpackfamily for 10 years now. He started at Sixpack as a freshman and played through his high school years, once he graduated he became a coach and has been with us ever since!! Also, Kyle is going to be taking on the role of our Strength and Conditioning Coordinator this summer! We’re so glad to have Kyle be a part of our coaching staff, and we can’t wait to see his new programs come to life! ??

Monica and her team have traveled to 2 tournaments together this season—the AAU Super Regional Tournament and the Virginia Beach Blizzard Blast Tournament—where they have won their division and finished in second place!?? Monica has been coaching high school volleyball for 35 years and has returned from her retirement after a brief hiatus! Monica is no stranger to the #sixpackfamily, having sent both of her sons through the program in high school!! We’re so glad to have Monica be a part of our coaching staff, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her and her team! ??

As the first honoree of our new “Coach of the Week” series, we want to highlight Coach Mike Schon! Mike is the head coach of the both the 16-Red Girls team and 15-Red Boys team. He has had a remarkable start to the season, winning his first 2 tournaments—The Chitown Boys Challenge Tournament (Chicago, IL) and The AAU Super Regional Tournament (Atlantic City, NJ) —and having only dropped 1 game in 3 tournaments with his boys team!!? Mike has been a part of the Sixpack community since 2015! When Mike joined the #sixpackfamily, he played with the top teams in his age group and had tons of success, then continued his tenure with the club in 2018 when he became a coach! We love to see how our once-athletes become coaches and stay loyal to the Sixpack culture. We can’t wait to see what else he can accomplish! Thanks for all you do, Mike!!?
